Location: Savannah,GA Type: Coach Pitch Format: Two pool play then double elimination. Teams will be seed by pool play into double elimination. All games will be 1 hour 20 mins. or 6 inning A team representative from the 8u teams must check in at the Paulson Park on Thursday July 17th 8u Opening Ceremonies will be Thurs July 7th at 5:00pm Teams will be announced during fellowship gathering. Teams will line-up along F-1 at Paulson Park It is a MUST for teams to confirm attends and be there no later than 4:45pm .Egg Toss Contest,Fastest Runners, ,Trading Pins. Pool play starts Friday 18th Thurs night at 7:00pm with Championship July 19th Sat night at 6:30pm. The Home team is the official score/. It is each team responible to turn in pool games scores. One mistake can mess up team seeding. Remember ones we post seeding we will Not change. Seeding teams makes every game count and for the World Series is important. But these are Not true seeding due to teams do Not play all the teams in pool play. Coaches will need to fill out a survey card at this time. Coaches remember failure to turn in a SIGNED WFC roster can lead to disqualification ======================================== Social gathering will be at Paulson Park from 6-8PM. Teams will be announced during fellowship gathering. Teams will will line-up along F-2 at Paulson Park. Starting 8u team thru 18u teams. It is a MUST for teams to confirm attends and be there no later than 5:40pm .Egg Toss Contest,Fastest Runners, Homer Derby, Trading Pins, so on ======================================== After check in we will find out which teams will be participating in the team gift exchange. This will ensure that participating teams will be matched up.Please do not exchange until matched up ============================================================ All coaches and players will receive World Series Pins. ============================================================ Tuesday July 15th 2008: Pool games start. The WFC B Class World Series schedule will be posted by July 7th. Roughly the schedule will be as follows pool play Tues & Wed, with teams playing two games a day.Thursday morning bracket will start. If we have pretty good weather the event ends Sat night at 6:30 pm Championships. Everyone should realize the possible the schedule is subject to change. Due to weather, teams dropping out, adding teams, mistake in schedule, field damages, light problems, games going extra inning and many more reasons In certain areas Teams MUST qualify for this event. ============================================================ IF YOU CANCEL OR WITHDRAW ONCE YOU HAVE BEEN NOTIFIED THAT YOU HAVE BEEN ACCEPTED INTO THE TOURNAMENT AND YOU HAVE A RESERVED SPOT; YOU WILL BE REFUNDED ONE-HALF OF THE TOURNAMENT ENTRY FEE; IF YOU WITHDRAW BEFORE June 23rd, 2008 YOUR TOTAL TOURNAMENT FEE IS NON-REFUNDABLE IF YOU CANCEL OR WITHDRAW FROM THE TOURNAMENT AFTER June 23rd 2008 (NO EXCEPTIONS AND NO SUBSTITUTIONS ALLOWED). ============================================================ In case of catastrophic occurances such as, but not limited to hurricanes, fire, floods, etc... a tournament may be cancelled regarding the safety of all teams and families.
