All games will be 1 hour 20 mins. or 7 inning or (8u,10u) 6 inning.

To ensure that all Opening Ceremonies operate smoothly WFC must know if your team will be participating in any of the following Ceremony Events.

Parade of Teams and Team trading pin exchange
Players and parents will be separated at the field gate to allow for proper team line-up. Each team and player will be formerly announced as they parade around the field.
Fastest Runner Contest Ages 10U -18U
Egg Toss Contest Ages 10U- 18U
Home run Contest Ages 10U- 18U

Social gathering will be at Pepper Geddings Complex on Aug 3rd evening from 6-8PM. Teams will be announced during fellowship gathering. Teams will line-up along F-C at Pepper-Gedding.
Starting 10u team thru 18u & 24u teams. It is a MUST for teams to confirm attendance and be there no later than 5:40pm

WFC must know if your team plans to participate in the gift exchange so that we may schedule participating teams for exchange. We do not want any team to feel pressure about participating or not in this exchange. This exchange is designed for participating teams to give a small gift bag item or items to represent the area from which their team is from. After check in we will find out which teams will be participating in the team gift exchange. This will ensure that participating teams will be matched up.
Please do not exchange until WE match you up. It might before a pool game or a bracket game. Do not bring gifts to Opening Ceremonies.Teams do not have to participate in all or any of these events. These events are strictly for the entertainment of the players.


We would like to remind all teams that you may preorder your WFC World Series T-shirts to ensure that you get the sizes that you want. The price is $18.00 each and may be ordered in sizes Youth Medium through Adult XXXXXL. All preorders may be picked up at opening ceremonies and paid for at that time. We will have t-shirts available at the tournament on a first come first serve basis.

Teams are allowed ONE team coolers but no grills. WFC does require that all parents, fans, coaches and players are on their best behavior while attending WFC World Series Events. WFC will not tolerate any unpartisan like behavior. Anyone who shows that they cannot behave in a proper manner will be asked to leave the complex immediately. Coaches please understand that sometimes there are calls that they do not agree with all the time. But, it is the coaches responsibility to his team to keep his cool and show good sportsmanship.

Teams please clean up dugouts after You use them.

WFC will not be providing water coolers in the dugouts this year. In the past we have found that people will put their hands in the water, take out the ice or simply remove the coolers. This year at check in each team’s representative will receive 1 case of bottled water.

Teams will not be seeded by pool play into double elimination. After many years of doing the WFC World Series we know seeding does not work. The worse thing that happens in seeding is when two teams say from NJ that have played each all year, start out there first World Series bracket game playing each other. Also all the teams do Not play each other in pool play. Finally most games are not complete games due to time restraints. We feel the teams should trust us in splitting everyone up. This means for sure each team will have four different teams to play.
With this in mind all bracket game there will still be a coin flip at home plate before the game.The Home team is the official score/. It is each team responsibility to turn in bracket games scores.

Coaches remember failure to turn in a signed WFC roster can lead to disqualification

Tuesday August 4th: Pool games start. Sunday Aug 9th is a built in rain day.Tournament can end end Sat night Aug 9th in a perfect case of events.

The WFC World Series in Myrtle Beach schedule will be posted by July 27th. Roughly the schedule will be as follows pool play Tues & Wed, with most teams playing either two games a day or one game for one day.Thursday morning bracket will start. If we have pretty good weather the event ends Sat night.Sunday Aug 9th is a rain day.

In case of inclement weather all coaches must come to the fields to check in with WFC staff for any updated game schedules. Please do not call or go to the website for any updates because the WFC staff will be at the complexes with schedule updates.

TEAMS:IF YOU CANCEL OR WITHDRAW ONCE YOU HAVE BEEN NOTIFIED THAT YOU HAVE BEEN ACCEPTED INTO THE TOURNAMENT AND YOU HAVE A RESERVED SPOT; YOU WILL BE REFUNDED ONE-HALF OF THE TOURNAMENT ENTRY FEE; IF YOU WITHDRAW BEFORE July 6th, 2009 YOUR TOTAL TOURNAMENT FEE IS NON-REFUNDABLE IF YOU CANCEL OR WITHDRAW FROM THE TOURNAMENT AFTER July 06, 2009 (NO EXCEPTIONS AND NO SUBSTITUTIONS ALLOWED).Refunds are issued after the event has been played.


In case of catastrophic occurances such as, but not limited to hurricanes, fire, floods, etc.; a tournament may be cancelled regarding the safety of all teams and families. If cancellation occurs teams may incur up to a $100.00 charge for event costs.
