Penalties for dropping out of tournaments:
Teams that drop out of tournaments more than one time will be placed on a Pre-pay the rest of the season. That means that they must pay their entry fee before they will be placed in the tournament.
Teams that drop out of a tournament after Times have been posted the week of the tournament will be penalitized a $50.00 charge.Teams that drop out of a tournament after 12:00 Friday or no show Owe entire entry fees of dropped tournament.Then these teams are subject to be withdrawn from any future WFC events that they have paid or sign up for and can be banned from WFC tournaments. Teams that sign up on more than one web site for the same weekend, is considered dropped from WFC events and penalties will be enforced.
One Day Policy. If a One Day tournament has weather or any other problems. Teams should expect Sun play.If we can not start 3rd place & Championship until after midnight this is automatic for Sunday play.WFC has a curfew of midnight. If a team forfeits out of the tournament. Then no points, no placement, and no trophies will be given.WFC can not control the weather or any other possible reasons for Sunday play on One Day events.
Remember that when you enter a tournament a lot of people are counting on you to be there. The other teams that see your name on the web page The tournament director will have to redo brackets, fields schedules, and many more trickled down effects.
Many tournaments fill up and teams that drop may prevent other teams from getting in, especially if they drop out the week of the tournament.
Rain Policy: By Friday at noon before each tournament any cancelation or schedule changes will be finalized and announced. All travel ball teams should expect the possible of Sunday play due to weather for scheduled One day Events.
On Saturday morning,if event cannot be started and is ruled cancelled by WFC staff there will be a 100% refund. If WFC staff rules that the event is playable with adjustments to the schedule all teams are expected to play. If a team cancels at this point there is a $50.00 charge taken from the entry fee.
After a tournament is started and due to weather a team only plays one game, WFC will only charge $50.00. If two games are played WFC will only charge $100.00. There will be no refunds after bracket play has started.
WFC will always try to arrange schedules so the tournament can be completed and a winner announced.
This policy is formal and stands for all WFC tournaments with exception of any Myrtle Beach , National, World or State events including all tournaments that hold more than 40 teams. These events will have individual cancelation policies noted for cancelation deadlines.
Catastrophic Occurance Cancelation:
In case of catastrophic occurances such as, but not limited to hurricanes, fire, floods, etc.; a tournament may be cancelled regarding the safety of all teams and families. If cancellation occurs teams may incur up to a $100.00 charge for event costs.
